What a beautiful piece, Rachael! I loved this line: "I pick up a crayon and mull a battle cry, one that defies the instincts to criticize, perfectionize, and rationalize." So often those three instincts cause me either writer's block or procrastination. I love the thought of creating a battle cry against them.
🥰
I can’t take how much I love this, Rachael😁
“Fisting four crayons at once” is such a great descriptor!
This war cry, the freedom of it, to create any way---makes me want to fly and write a book.

ooh this was lovely! I especially loved the whole "the point isn't" section -- such encouragement + a great reminder 🤍
